We live on second floor of two family and moving to first floor of two family not far away from where we live now. We will pack all of our belongings and fragiles. From house has two flights of stairs, including street steps to porch, a total of 18 risers; to house has only steps to front porch, probably five to eight risers. To house driveway is currently being re-paved, so access may only be available through front door, not back.
In addition to other furniture, we have electric piano, armoire that can be broken into three pieces and dining room buffet that is somewhat heavier. Also 3 couches. There is a metal hutch and two washing machines in the basement with direct access to driveway. What we need from movers is to help my husband move bigger pieces of furniture and packed boxes if any left by that time. Our stairway curves on the way up so our bed boxspring was pulled by rope through back porch up by previous movers. Everything else was brought in by stairs. Thanks
