CityMove does not take reviews down unless they are considered
to be in violation of policy. Customers will be contacted and asked
to revise their review if the review is found to be in violation
of our policies. The review is taken down until the customer makes
the appropriate modifications and resubmits.
Reviews on CityMove can be considered in violation of policy for the
following reasons: (a) They contain obscene language or content. (b)
They link to an unauthorized site, including but not limited to, sites
that: (aa) A customer does not have the right to link to (bb) Is advertising
or promoting another company. (cc) Contains inappropriate language or
content (dd) contain any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots,
easter eggs or other computer programming routines that may damage, detrimentally
interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system,
data or personal information; (c) They reveal personal information about

Movers cannot request removal of reviews unless they are in violation
of policy. Instead movers are encouraged to submit rebuttals. A
mover can submit 1 rebuttal (up to 2048 characters) per review. For rebuttal submission policies, please click here.
All verified reviews are linked to a job. A customer may only submit a review of an individual mover one time per job. If the customer submits another job, and chooses the same mover, the customer has the opportunity to review the mover again.
The customer may review multiple movers per job. This is to account for customers submitting negative reviews of movers who cancel, don't show up, or are rude. A customer may not submit 2 positive reviews of different movers on a single job, since it is assumed that only 1 mover is doing the job.
Reviews can be taken down or modified at the request of the party that SUBMITTED the review.
CityMove reserves the right to remove reviews submitted by parties deemed to be in violation of review/posting policies at other respected sites. CityMove requires a written or electronic message from an officer of a respected site prior to considering this option.
Any attempts to spam the review system of CityMove will result
in the deletion of all reviews submitted by the party attempting
to spam as well as the restriction of all IP addresses participating
in this fraudalent activity.
Reviews found to be submitted by other movers will be removed immediately.
The offending party will be penalized based on the offense. Nearly all
offenders will receive a loss of rank points, egregious offenders will
also receive a temporary loss of bidding privileges. Very egregious offenders
will have their accounts deactivated.
The purpose of the review system is to rate movers on their service. Reviews submitted by customers prior to reaching an agreement with a mover to perform their move are eligible for removal, regardless of the attitude or language used by the mover. This is to prevent customers from calling up movers with unreasonable demands, and threatening a bad review if their demands are not met. This is also to prevent movers from having friends, family and associates sabotage other movers.
