"Very disappointed. The move was simple - small amount (mattress, dining table, and 10-15 boxes, mostly small and medium - everything packed and ready to go) on the first floor being moved to a storage unit less than 2 miles away. The movers showed up after the 2 hour window, didn't have any items to cover the mattress or table (I provided), and because I had listed 10 boxes instead of 14 they told me it would be another $100 - or I could pay them $60 directly in cash. I assumed this was inaccurate but the office did end up requiring me to pay an additional $100 after all of my items were loaded onto the van in order to complete the process - I wish I had just put them in a cab and taken myself.
Once we got to the storage unit the movers complained that they were running late for another job and the unit was too far back in the building and that they didn't have time to move everything in. I asked them to move the mattress and dining table as I could not manage them on my own and then spent the next hour carrying the boxes myself into the unit, this is after helping get boxes off the truck and onto two separate dolly's. With tip the experience cost me $400. I'm giving it 2 stars only because they didn't break anything."
